High security video data
Cluster suite is the high availability module of VXCore corporate server. Specially designed for applications requiring a high level of security, its goal is to ensure uninterrupted functioning, even in case of server failure. |

VXcluster Suite can manage hundreds of users and cameras. In such circumstances it is unthinkable to lose data, interrupt the recording cameras service or block users. The Suite consists of 2 servers, a master, a slave and at least a bay for storing video recordings. Both machines are self-monitored via several links (Heartbeat). They are both connected onto the storage bay with fibre optic.

Redundancy
In case of master server failure, slave server immediately resumes the activity where the master stopped, without interruption or data loss, maintaining all services. You can then send the faulty machine to maintenance in complete peace of mind.

The solution uses a VPN with SSL encryption to connect several VXCore servers in production (VPN clients) on a central VXCore server (VPN server). The mobile appearance of VPN clients allows servers to connect to the VXCore central server from any Internet connection, without allowing incoming connections or without using a fixed IP address (no router / firewall configuration). |

Secured centralization by VPN
The new system integrates a very advanced system of centralization for linking several VXCore client servers onto a central VXCore server via secured and encrypted network connections.
Once the VXCore customer detects an Internet connection, the VPN link is automatically initiated to the central server, even if we completely change the connection type (ex: ADSL migration to 3G). This solution is fully adaptable to mobile and migrant system (ex: transport sector video surveillance).
The different functionality of centralization enables to split the configuration of a VXCore into two distinct parts:
VPN client :
Management of the camera fleet, video recording and export, alarm feedback, local users and viewings
VPN server :
Centralization and maintenance of client systems, grouped viewing of cameras, feedback from any alarms, management of events and actions, users configuration |

Specific management interface:
The new management interface allows you to centralize information and have an overall report of operational status of all VXCore clients connected (CPU, memory, error status ...).
Transparent web redirecting :
On the central server, it is possible to allow users redirections on different Web interfaces of VXCore clients connected via VPN. The redirection is done via HTTP static port set onto the central server (TCP proxy). This feature completely replaces "multi-site" management of older versions of VXCore.
Auto login on clients’ servers :
A feature of user accounts key imports allows prompt connection to VXCore clients, without entering a username and password.
IP cameras centralization :
From the central server, it is possible to configure a VXCore camera, to link a client’s server camera as a "local” camera. It is then possible to view all the cameras located on different VXCore’s clients (for example: Web profiles or VXView profiles). The VXCore camera also allows the linking of networks connections to IP cameras for configuration or PTZ control (TCP proxy).
Centralization of time system:
Clock of all VXCore clients will be automatically synchronized with the clock of VXCore central server. |
